MARLYN KRAMER
I was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida. As a child I always had a love affair with art and spent a lot of time drawing people and scenery. After moving to the Kenai Peninsula in 1985, I took a painting for pleasure in oils class from Boyd Schaffer and started taking art seriously. Everyone who saw my work encouraged me to take it up on a more professional level so I stared my company, Artistic Impulse in 2002. I have spent my time painting for enjoyment and sales ever since, specializing in watercolors, oils, and greeting cards. Over the past ten years I have taken various art classes from Kenai Peninsula College and various guest artists traveling to our area. I love taking photos everyday. And that is my reference inspiration for my paintings. I am a member of Kachemak Bay Watercolor Society and Peninsula Art Guild. I participate in a weekly mixed media art group and happy to paint with the Alaska Friends. |
